PROJECT ASSISTANT

fixed term contract to end January 2011
Salary NIS 5000gross per month

St John Eye Hospital is the leading provider of eye care in East Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza Strip. The main Hospital is located in Jerusalem and has Clinics in Hebron and Anabta. In addition to our extensive range
of specialist services we also provide services within the community through
our Outreach Teams which travel throughout the West Bank.

We have a vacancy for an experienced Project Assistant, to work in our Development & External Relations Department. You will assist the Projects Officer in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of project objectives as well as assisting in the preparation of all reports in line with the donors’ requirements. You will also be responsible for gathering the projects’
data, and liaising with the project’s field assistants.

You will need to be an experience Project Assistant with 3 years experience and educated to degree level. Previous experience in the NGO and community based organizations is essential. You will also be a good communicator with up to date knowledge of socio-economic and political developments in the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem. A valid driving license and excellent
computer skills are necessary.
