Quick Guide - Post on EnglishPAL

Events

To post in this section go to "Add new Posting" on the top right corner of the page. 

Choose the Event button and start filling in your information: Subject, Town (you may choose several towns for one posting) and all other information. You upload up to 3 pictures and up to 3 files (e.g. a pdf file with further information about your event).

Very important! There is a second tap called "Calendar". Don't forget to choose here a date and time for your event. 

 

All Others (different sections)

To post in all other sections except Property, Jobs or Events you need to go to "Add new Posting" on the top right corner of the page and choose the "All Others" button. 

Commercial or Private user?

After logging in with your account you should make a decision if you want use EnglishPAL as private person or as a Commercial User. If you are a private user, just continue. If you want to use EnglishPAL for business purposes (not job postings - see for job postings the job section) for example: posting your shops offers, advertise for items your shop offers, post your companies workshops and seminars, advertise your tours, etc. - you need to click "Become a Commercial User" in the top right corner of the site (this selection is non-reversible). After this, continue.  

Click again "Add new Item" and type your title. Title alias (URL) will be added automaticly by the system when you leave this fields blank. Choose your category and choose one or several towns.

Scroll down and you will find this field:

Start from left to the right.

Fill in your content, choose an image (or upload your zip or Flickr image gallery), add media files.

Very important! Check if the category you are posting in had a extra field you need to define. For example, in the Sale and Buy -> all around cars you need to define if you want to sell or buy something. In this way, when people search for your posting they will find it quicker.

Want to attach a Pdf file or Word Document? Do this under attachements.

Submit your posting and wait for the Moderators approval. 

 

Property section

To post in this section go to "Add new Posting" on the top right corner of the page. 

Choose the Property button and start filling in your information: title, choose if you are selling or renting and the kind of property.

Fill in the description field. Choose your status (private or Agency) and the town.

You may add also up to three pictures and add further infromation about the property.

Save your posting and wait for the Moderators approval.

 

 

 

 

Job section

First you need to decide if you will use EnglishPAL as Job seeker or Employer. To do this go to the job section and click the Dash Board. Here you have to make your decision, this decision is final.

It is possible to have two accounts: one as an employer and one as a job seeker.

Orientation: Go to Jobs -> Job offers and see the current uploaded jobs

 

For Employers   For Job seekers

First time: Go to: Jobs-> Job offers -> Dashboard and select your role as "Employer"

After: Go to: Jobs-> Job offers -> Dashboard and "Add  Company" and "Add Department"

  First time: Go to: Jobs-> Job offers -> Dashboard and select your role as "Job Seeker"
Go to: Jobs -> Job offers   Go to: Jobs -> Job offers -> Dashboard
Click "New Job" and fill in all required * information. Make sure you fill any information in the Description field   Add your resume(s)
Go to: Jobs -> Job offers -> Applied Resumes to see who applied to your job   Add your covering letter(s)
     
    Now go again to: Jobs-> Job offers and browse the existing job offers
   

Apply for jobs by (a) sending the recruiter an e-mail or (b) by applying though the EnglishPAL site.

To do this open the job and click "Apply now"
